The aim of the paper is to present the application of the Petri nets to modal properties of natural languages. The authors show that the Petri nets are a more complex means of representing conditional sentences than the pure logical implication. Therefore the authors claim that this method can be viewed as a universal tool for comparison between languages. (PK)

Celem artykułu jest pokazanie zastosowania sieci Petriego przy opisie własności modalnych w językach naturalnych. Autorzy stwierdzają, że sieci stanowią bardziej rozbudowany środek przedstawienia zdań warunkowych niż czyste implikacje logiczne. Mogą być uniwersalnym narzędziem porównywania języków. (PK)
