Abstract:
The author presents an attempt at a formal characterization of the semantic constraints on arguments of the preposition po. For this aim the description of a context characteristic of the class of cardinal quantifiers is shown. The author confirms that Polish preposition po requires its argument to express a cardinal quantifier. (PK)

W artykule przedstawiono charakterystykę formalną ograniczeń semantycznych argumentów przyimka dystrybutywnego po. W tym celu autor opisuje kontekst językowy dla klasy kwantyfikatorów głównych. Zauważa, że polski przyimek dystrybutywny po wymaga od argumentu, by wyrażał kwantyfikator główny. (PK)
