Abstract:
According to the English and Polish material in which the dative is concerned it shows that these constructions function either in the nuclear structures or the derived ones as a syntactic indicator of the syntactic position. However it does not implicate that the morphems cannot fulfill the semantic function. (PK)

Badania angielskiego i polskiego materiału, w którym uwzględniono konstrukcje z celownikiem, pokazują, że konstrukcje te funkcjonują w strukturze jądrowej lub derywowanej jako wskaźnik syntaktyczny pozycji składniowej. Nie świadczy to jednak o tym, że morfemy nie mogą spełniać funkcji semantycznej. (PK)
